COVID-19 update 10/06/2020 - Level 1

Level 1 of COVID-19 Alert System in New Zealand | Unite against COVID-19.

The risk has decreased but we must continue to actively manage infection risk, to ensure the safety of patients and visitors.

Patient and Visitor Information

Forte Health is now open for business and usual admission procedures have returned.

There are no visiting restrictions or physical distancing requirements at Alert Level 1. However please stay with your family or friends whilst visiting and continue to distance as able from other patients. Please practice good hand hygiene and cough/sneeze etiquette. We have hand sanitiser throughout the hospital.

We do ask that you and your visitors are well before entering the hospital.

If you are a patient please contact Forte Health if you or your visitors answer yes to any of the following:

•             you are feeling unwell with a cold or flu like symptoms

•             have been overseas in the past 14 days, or

•             had any potential recent exposure to COVID-19

Anyone who appears unwell with a respiratory illness will not be able to enter Forte Hospital.

Contact Tracing

We are displaying the Ministry of Health QR Code for contact tracing, this is at all entrances and throughout the hospital. Please scan on your phone so you can track your movements and allow for rapid contact tracing if required.
